My involvement in real estate has changed my life. While my previous career as a professional sailor had obvious lifestyle benefits and challenges, it did not provide me with job security or a regular income. When I married in 1992 - with plans to start a family – I was forced to reappraise my career options. Given that I was a good "people person" and had extensive background in the marine lifestyle, as well as my father's involvement at the time in the real estate industry, the choice was obvious.

My philosophy is that I am going to be here for the long haul – as reflected in the fact I live in the waterfront precinct of Minyama Waters with my wife Vicky and children Zak and Soraya – and it is therefore important that I continue to do the right thing by people with whom I deal. As an active member of the community I have become heavily involved with the Neighbourhood Watch program by becoming coordinator for my area. I have also set up committees for both Minyama Island and Mooloolah Island, which I am actively involved in.
My knowledge of the market in which I am involved is second to none, I am currently celebrating 12 years of selling real estate in the area, and really knowing the area is what I believe distinguishes my service to the clients and buyers from the competition.

Rachel’s keen interest in real estate was initiated at a young age when she assisted her father with the renovations of an old timber cottage in the Mort Estate in Toowoomba. At the age of 19, Rachel then purchased her first investment property and also went on to pursue her career in real estate.
