White has consistently been associated with fine real estate, auctions, and appraisals. For the past 80+ years, Gustave White has handled the marketing of quality properties from 'Sandy Point', the estate of Reginald Vanderbilt, to 'Hammersmith Farm', the home of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis and 'Fairholme', the estate of Anita O'Keefe Young.
Since 2000, the company has been owned by Christina West and Paul Leys and continues to offer buyers and sellers the firm's dedication to exceptional service. Today we maintain offices in Newport, Westerly and Providence with a team of over 30 full-time sales professionals representing properties throughout Rhode Island, southeastern Connecticut and southern Massachusetts. Gustave J.S. White became Sotheby's International Realty's first affiliate in 1982. In May of 2005 this valued relationship was expanded, thus solidifying the firm's commitment to preeminent service.
